General Waste Collections

Our General Waste Solution

Pembrokeshire County Council can offer a range of containers for you to dispose of your general waste. We have a range of bin sizes to choose from or, alternatively, we have a bag scheme available to businesses that have limited space to store wheeled bins.

Wheeled Bins:

This service is ideal for those businesses that have space to suitably store these types of bins. Risk assessments will be carried out before a new request for a wheeled bin will be accepted in order to agree a suitable location for the bin(s) to be collected from.

660ltr & 1100ltr Bins:

All of our larger four wheeled bins come fully fitted with easily operated brakes on the front wheels along with a lockable lid.

These bins are made from galvanised steel making them hard wearing, resistant to fire and have lockable watertight lids fitted helping to prevent odours and vermin issues.

140, 240ltr & 360ltr Bins:

Our 140ltr, 240ltr and 360ltr bins are ideal for customers that produce smaller quantities of waste. These bins are smaller than our four wheeled bins, but are still very robust and small enough to fit through a standard doorway which allows them to be used/stored either inside or outside.

Sacks:

Blue general waste sacks are available to purchase in rolls of 20. Please note, your first delivery of sacks is free of charge in April 2024.

All subsequent deliveries of sacks thereafter will carry a small delivery charge of £6.50. Bags must be tied and must not exceed 15kg.

* Remember, as from April 2024, you will no longer be able to dispose of any recycling materials within your general waste.
