PayByPhone offers you an alternative means of payment to the existing pay and display machines allowing you to pay via your mobile phone.
Each car park has its own unique location number to be quoted when paying.

The PayByPhone service includes the following features:

You can download the app to register or register online (opens in a new tab) to pay for parking from your mobile phone. Payments can then be made by calling or texting 65565.

Frequently Asked Questions
How to Park with PayByPhone
- Download the PayByPhone app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Enter your location code. Select the suggested nearest location code or enter the location code found on the nearby PayByPhone signage.
- A map will pop up highlighting your location.
- Enter your parking duration. Enter the length of time you wish to park and check your details before confirming your selection. Ensure you select the correct vehicle registration.
- You will see a pop up ‘Receive SMS parking reminders’ – you can add your mobile number to receive notifications and expiry reminders by SMS. Please note that these are an additional charge of 10p per SMS in Pembrokeshire County Council car parks. You can proceed without SMS parking reminders by selecting ‘Park without reminders’.
- Extend your parking anytime. Add more time from wherever you are. Simply open the app and press ‘extend’.
What is PayByPhone?
PayByPhone is a quick and secure way to pay for parking with your mobile phone. Instead of having to put money in a pay and display machine, you can use our app, website, or call in.
Do I have to display a ticket in my car?
No. Once you’ve started your parking session you’re free to get on with the rest of your day.
How do traffic wardens know that I have paid?
When you have successfully paid, the traffic warden’s enforcement device is updated to show your vehicle registration number along with the start and end times of your parking session.
Is it safe to use my credit/debit card?
Yes, PayByPhone is fully compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
How do I get VAT receipts for my parking?
You can either receive receipts by text or email, and they are available online at PaybyPhone (opens in a new tab)
Will it cost me more to use PayByPhone?
No, in Pembrokeshire County Council car parks you will not be charged a transaction fee for paying for your parking using PayByPhone. If you choose to receive SMS parking reminders (expiry reminders, receipts and confimations) you will be charged 10p per SMS.
You can view a breakdown of your parking fee by selecting ‘View Totals’.
How do I turn off SMS parking reminders?
Within the App go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Account settings’ > ‘Notifications & privacy’ and then toggle on and off as required.
