For out of hours in the event of an emergency (e.g. where for religious reasons a death must be registered and body buried before sundown or where a marriage or civil partnership ceremony needs to be arranged as a matter of extreme urgency) please contact the Pembrokeshire County Council out of hours service 0345 601 5522 who will contact a registration officer.

Gardens and chapel of remembrance

Visitors are welcome from 10:00am until 4:00pm throughout the festive period.

Witness Interment bookings will be accepted on weekdays (excluding bank holidays) between Monday December 22 2025 and Friday January 2 2026, from 10:00am until 11:30am, an alternative time may be possible if a member of staff is not required to be in attendance.

Online cremation bookings

Our online bookings facility will be available throughout the holiday period for cremations.

If any problems are encountered, you should contact the office at the earliest availability.

Direct cremation

Direct cremations can be booked in for Monday-Friday before 9am as usual, excluding the Bank Holidays.

Collection of ashes

It may not always be possible for us to carry out a cremation on the same day as the service during this period, please contact us in advance if you require a next day collection of ashes.

Burial and cremation forms

When arranging funerals, please be mindful of the bank holidays and remember to factor in additional time required for submission of paperwork as per our requirements stated above.

If any forms are ready before the deadline date, please submit them early. The sooner we have them, the sooner any issues can be addressed and your forms processed.

Late arrival of forms may result in being unable to cremate on the day of the service.

Music at cremation services

During the festive period Funeral Directors are reminded to provide sufficient notice (3 working days excluding Bank Holidays) for all requests which are not in our library.

Park/Grounds: open daily 9am – 4.30pm

Please note all buildings and toilets onsite will be closed between Monday 22nd December 2025 and Sunday 4thJanuary 2026 inclusively.
