Planning Advice

The environment around us requires careful management to ensure that development is sustainable. The Council has responsibilities for preparing the development plan, development control, building control, enforcement, public rights of way, common land and biodiversity.

In this section you'll find further details of these planning services, together with frequently asked questions, downloadable planning guidance, and regularly updated lists of applications received and decisions made.

Please note that the Council is the local planning authority for all areas of Pembrokeshire outside of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Planning enquiries relating to land within the National Park should be directed to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.

Pembrokeshire County Council works in partnership with the Planning Portal to provide services and information about the planning service.
