Parc Gwyn Memorial Meadow
Established in 2025, Parc Gwyn Memorial Meadow has been designed as a setting where nature is allowed to flourish, providing a natural and peaceful environment to honour memory and celebrate life.
Where the hedgerows once encompassed a grazed pasture, the area has been transformed into a meadow where grasses and wildflowers are managed to benefit nature. This ‘more natural than neat’ environment encourages a greater diversity of plant species in the meadow. This in turn provides a refuge and food source for animals such as small mammals, birds, bees, butterflies and moths.
Whether you come to remember a loved one, to enjoy the meadow or simply to find a moment of stillness, the space is open to all.
Parc Gwyn Memorial Meadow was established through funding provided by a Welsh Government grant (Local Places for Nature Challenge Fund) awarded to the Pembrokeshire Nature Partnership.
