Pembrokeshire Schools

Overview

Pembrokeshire has a mix of schools including those providing Welsh +/or English medium and faith provision. For a full list of schools and language categories please see our Information for Parents (link below).

Schools work on a ‘Cluster of Schools' basis and there is close co-operation between them. The cluster is made up of a secondary school and the partner or feeder primary schools. The aim of the Cluster of Schools model is to strengthen links between schools in a way that ensures progression, continuity and support for pupils as they move through the different stages of their education.

For Secondary transfers pupils normally transfer to the link school within the Cluster of schools. Transfer requests are invited from parents during the Autumn term of the year that the child attends Year 6.
