Loan Charges

Talking books

Adult

Loan charge: £2.00

Overdue fees: 15p per day (maximum per item £5.00)

Concessions*

Loan charge: £1.35

Overdue fees: 10p per day (maximum per item £5.00)

Exemption

Loan charge: children age 0-17 and disabled borrowers - no charge

Overdue fees: children aged 17 years or under - no charge

Reservation charges

Adults

Charge  - customers can reserve five items, free of charge: £1.30 per item

Concessions

Charge (suspended) - customers can reserve five items, free of charge: 90p per item

Exemption

Children age 0-17: free

If an item you are looking for is in stock but not located at your local library, then you can ask for the item to be reserved for you, by logging in to your Account or by asking a member of staff.

We will let you know when the reservation is ready to collect.

Requests

If an item is not in stock, please complete a request slip and we will consider buying it into our stock.

Inter library loans 

We may be able to borrow the item you require from another library authority in the UK.

This service is quite costly to the library service, so we would ask you to think carefully about whether you need this particular item.

Maximum number of reservations/requests

The maximum number of Reservations/Requests in place at any one time is five per reader.

Other charges 

Lost or Damaged Items - 50% of replacement cost charged. 100% of replacement cost charged if item has been purchased within the last 12 months

Replacement cards 

Lost: £1.50

Stolen (has crime number): No charge

Photocopying and Printouts (in selected branches only)

A4 black and white: 10p per sheet

A4 colour: 30p per sheet

A3 black and white: 20p per sheet

A3 colour: 60p per sheet

Hire of Library art galleries

£30 per calendar month (At Fishguard & Pembroke Dock only)

Filming

TV company filming on site - £120 per day 

Last Invasion Tapestry entry charge

Adult (18+) £3.00

Child (0-17) No charge

Talks - £1 per head. Pre-book only

Adults with a Pembrokeshire library card (must bring) - no charge

Free entry to all, every year on 22nd February (Anniversary of invasion)

Hire of Life Hub rooms

Fishguard: £5 per hour

Pembroke Dock: £5 per hour

Haverfordwest: £10 per hour

Milford Haven: £10 per hour
