How do I use compost
This is the fun bit! Use compost regularly and see your garden bloom. You can use compost anywhere to improve soil and feed your plants.
Mulching - a thick layer around your plants helps retain moisture and suppress weeds.
Soil conditioning - spread it on your flower and vegetable-beds, to improve soil structure and balance drainage with water retention.
Feed your plants naturally without artificial chemicals - worms take the nutrients from the compost down into the soil. Healthy soil grows healthy plants!
Potting - use instead of shop-bought compost in your flowerpots, window-boxes and hanging-baskets.
Add a few centimetres of garden compost to pots and planters in the spring.
