Welsh Government Decision on the Review of Electoral Arrangements for Pembrokeshire

The Minister for Finance and Local Government has confirmed the decision reached in respect of the above review.

The number of Councillors and the boundary arrangements are accepted as outlined in the Commission’s Final Recommendations Report

The Minister has decided to accept the recommendations of the Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales, with modifications. The modifications, which relate to the names of some electoral wards, are listed in the annex of the Written Statement

The Boundary Commission for Wales have published their report containing initial proposals for changes to Parliamentary constituencies in Wales.

The closing date for the consultation period, which commenced on the 8 September 2021, is the 3 November 2021.

Representations about the initial proposals should be made by 3 November. You can submit representations through the online consultation portal, emailing bcw@boundaries.wales, or through the post to Boundary Commission for Wales, Hastings House, Cardiff, CF24 0BL.

The best way to view the maps and proposals is via the Commission’s website. Hard copies of the proposals for the proposed Mid and South Pembrokeshire constituency are available at Riverside Library, Haverfordwest.
