Play Therapy

Play therapy is a therapeutic intervention for children, using the language and process they understand, play.

The play therapy room is a safe, confidential and caring environment where the child’s healing can begin.

The play is child lead with as few limits as possible but as many as necessary. The therapist observers the child’s play and does not intervene, but reflects back on what they see allowing the child to process things which may arise in the session.
