Pest Control Service
Providing a Complete Solution for Pests
The Pest Control Service provides pest control treatments to both domestic and commercial premises in the County of Pembrokeshire.
The treatments do carry a charge and for domestic treatment the charges are detailed below:
- Species
- Rats
- Mice
- Cockroaches
- Fleas
- Wasps/Bees
- Bedbugs
- Other Insect pests if identifiable
The charge for the treatment of rats/mice is £85 +VAT. This will cover two visits, with a third visit and more, if required, being charged at a rate of £30.42 +VAT per subsequent visit. The charge for the treatment of any other pests listed in relation to domestic properties is £78.50 +VAT.
Customers can expect to receive contact from an Officer within 24 working hours of making the Service Request. Where this is not possible, an Officer will endeavour to make contact no later than 48 hours of the Service Request. Generally customers will receive a treatment, particularly for urgent requests, the same or the next working day, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Any telephone advice for any of the above will be free of charge, but a site visit for advice only is charged at £30.42 +VAT. If the customer or the Pest Control Officer is unsure if a third visit is required, then the customer has a period of 8 weeks from the date of the last visit to request the additional treatment for the £30.42 +VAT charge. If this additional request is made after the expiration of 8 weeks from the date of the last visit, then a fresh service request will have to be made and another service request treatment is to be paid at the standard rate detailed above.
Please note that all payments are to be made at the time when the request for the service is made. This can be via a card payment, or a cash payment can be taken at any Pembrokeshire County Council service desk.
The Pest Control Service will also treat and provide on-going specialist Pest Control contracts for Commercial premises/businesses. This can include Food Premises. These treatments or contracts can be for the control of any of the pests species detailed above but would have to be priced depending upon the scale of the preventative work required.
The Pest Control Service does provide a FREE Health Check for Commercial Premises/Businesses. This will involve a site survey, including recommendations made for the Control of Pests and a quote of costs for the work requested will be provided following the Health Check.
