Which premises do we inspect?

LA regulators follow a risk based approach to target health and safety interventions .  We concentrate our work where the risks are likely to be highest and where it will have the greatest impact.

Unannounced proactive health and safety inspections are therefore reserved for high risk  activities and sectors published by HSE or when intelligence suggests risks are not being effectively managed.
