Variation Order No. 16 2025
The Pembrokeshire County Council
(Off Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2011
(Variation Order No. 16 2025)
STATEMENT OF REASONS
It is proposed to vary the existing Car Park Order, namely the Pembrokeshire County Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2011 by way of the following:-
- To introduce a Summer and Winter 10hr tariff in Column 8 of the Schedule at parking place numbered 76 on floors 1, 2 & 3
- To amend the existing 4hr tariff to a 5hr tariff in Column 8 of the Schedule at parking place numbered 76 on floors 1,2 and 3
- To amend the 24hr parking charge in Column 8 of the Schedule at parking place numbered 76 on floors 1,2 and 3
- To change parking charges on floors 1, 2 and 3 to 24 hour charging
This variation introduces a new 5hr tariff to allow part time workers more flexibility; a new 10hr tariff in place of a Daily tariff and a 24hr tariff on floors 1, 2 and 3
The Ground floor will remain as maximum stay 2 hours and charges will not be amended (Charge period 09:00am to 7:00pm)
It will allow the Council to manage the car parks effectively and in line with our Traffic Management duty.
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 32 and 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) as amended and the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to vary the Schedule to the Pembrokeshire County Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2011, with respect to the Parking Places listed in the table below, to make provision as follows:-
- To introduce a Summer and Winter 10hr tariff in Column 8 of the Schedule at parking place numbered 76 on floors 1, 2 & 3
