How to Make a Request
There are two ways of requesting information.
- To find out information about the Council or the Environment make a Freedom of Information or Environmental Information Regulations request.
- To obtain information the Council may hold about you, you need to make a Subject Access Request under Section 7 of the Data Protection Act.
How to Appeal a Response
If you wish to appeal the Authority's response to your request for information, you can request for an Internal Review to be conducted. Please put your request in writing within two months of the date of the response to your original request:

An independent Reviewing Officer will review your request, and issue a response within 20 working days, however there are circumstances in which requests will be completed within 40 working days.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the Internal Review, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office, the regulatory body for the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations.

FOI Fees and Charges
We try to provide information freely whenever we can. When we do have to charge you for information, charges will be justified, transparent and kept to a minimum.
Charges may be made for actual disbursements such as:
- Photocopying/printing
- Postage and packaging
- The cost directly incurred as a result of viewing information
Charges may also be made for information where they are legally authorised. A schedule of fees will be published for such information.
Charges may also be made for making copyright datasets (or parts of datasets) available for re-use.

Unless covered by the terms of a specified licence, the council's express permission must be obtained before re-using information described on this page. Please use the contact details on the User Feedback page to request permission.

Search Disclosure Log
Due to website accessibility requirements Pembrokeshire County Council have not been in a position to publish FOI / EIR responses since January 2022 however we anticipate being in a position to start publishing these again in the coming months.
Listed are our responses to requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

We also routinely make information available through the Publication Scheme.
The Authority will also make datasets available for reuse. Some of the datasets will be updated as new information becomes available.
