The programme is delivered in partnership with the National Parks.
Exercise Professional David Braithwaite and the National Parks Walkability Coordinator Paul Casson offer walks on alternating Tuesday afternoons throughout the year and arrange starting points from various locations in Pembrokeshire.
Both leaders are Welsh Ambulance Service Defibrillator qualified and a defibrillator is taken on all walks. Paul has access to a minibus which he uses to transport any clients without a vehicle to the venues. The meeting area is next to Haverfordwest Leisure Centre in Riflemans field car park.
Physical activity doesn't need to be complicated. Something as simple as a daily brisk walk can help you live a healthier life.

Paul Casson -Walkability Project Coordinator
The Exercise referral scheme has partnered with Pembrokeshire National Parks to organise specific walks for our exercise referral/cardiac clients. Paul is the Walkability Project Coordinator for Pembrokeshire National parks; in this role he supports walking activities for health groups.
Paul qualified as a teacher of Physical Education at Loughborough University and as an inspector of educational services throughout Wales. He has spent most of his career working in outdoor education, qualifying as a UK Mountain Instructor, first working in Pembrokeshire in 1980.
