Adult Social Care Apprenticeship Programme

What is the Social Care Apprenticeship Programme?

The Social Care Apprenticeship Programme is an exciting opportunity that will enable young people leaving school or college to train to become a fully registered social care support workers through work-based learning.

Pembrokeshire County Council and Pembrokeshire College have developed an Apprenticeship Programme for people aged 16–18 years old who want to work in social care. We believe and want to invest in ‘helping young people leaving school or college to gain qualifications whilst at the same time have employment opportunities. This will help to build a great skilled and qualified young workforce for the future of social care.
