Monitoring

Our Strategic Equality Action Plan Group includes representatives from across the authority who meet quarterly to review and monitor progress against our objectives. The remit of the group includes the delivery of objectives within the plan, compliance matters, development work and sharing of good practice. This group includes the Director for Education who is the senior officer responsible for the implementation of the Strategic Equality Plan within Pembrokeshire County Council and Chair of the meetings. The Director reports to other senior officers and Cabinet members, as part of his membership of the Senior Leadership Team.

Our Programme for Administration is arranged around the portfolios of the Cabinet Members which includes a Cabinet Member for Education and Welsh Language and there is an Equality, Diversity and Democracy Champion.
