Admission timetable - Normal admission rounds

Nursery place

• Age: 3rd birthday 1^st Sept 2024 to 31^st Aug 2025
• Starting school: January, April, September 2028
• Closing date for applying: 30^th April 2027
• Offer/notification date: By end of July 2027
• Appeals closing date: No right of appeal

 

Reception place

(There is no automatic transfer from the Nursery age provision – a separate application will be required).

• Age: 4th birthday 1^st Sept 2022 to 31^st Aug 2023 
• Starting school: Autumn term 2027
• Closing date for applying: 15^th January 2027
• Offer/notification date: 16^th April 2027
• Appeals closing date: 10 working days from receipt of refusal letter

 

Secondary school transfer

(Applications for primary pupils starting Year 7 in secondary schools)

• Age: 11th birthday 1^st Sept 2015 to 31^st Aug 2016 
• Starting school: Autumn term Sept 2027
• Closing date for applying: 31^st October 2026
• Offer/notification date: 1^st March 2027
• Appeals closing date: 10 working days from receipt of refusal letter
