People Network PC’s

Pembrokeshire Libraries provide free internet access in every library via our public network PC’s.

At your local library you can:

  • Browse the internet
  • Send and receive emails
  • Use word processing and office tools, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Access Online resources
  • Print out (charges apply

If you want to access one of our public computers, you will need to become a member.  

To use IT facilities in any of our libraries, you must also agree to our acceptable use policy.

Please note that library computers automatically shut down 10 minutes before closing time.

 

Access for children

Children age 9-16 must have parental permission.

 

Wi-fi

All of our libraries also offer free Wi-fi, allowing you to go online on your own device. You do not need to be a member of the library service to use the Wi-fi.

 

Wi-fi Printing

Wi-Fi printing available at Haverfordwest Library.

  • Supported files: doc and docx (Word); pdf; bmp, gif, jpeg, jpg, png, tif and tiff (Images).
  • Upload limit: Max 150 MB per file. 

Steps:

  1. Go to Computer Booking 
  2. Login with your Library Card Number and PIN
  3. Go to Home and Print a Document.
  4. Read the instructions and select Get Started.
  5. Select Add a File+ to upload the document from your device.
  6. Find your file and select Submit.
  7. Make a note of the Reference ID.
  8. Call into Haverfordwest Library to pay and collect your printing.

 

Filtering

Both our PC internet access and Wi-fi internet access in our libraries are filtered. This means that you won’t be able to access some websites. More details of this can be found in our acceptable use policy.
